The carbon rods are made by pultruded/pultrusion process. Pultruded/Pultrusion converts reinforced carbon fibers and liquid resin into a carbon fiber reinforced Plastic(CFRP) via a pulling and extrusion principles.The carbon fibers are saturated by being pulled & extruded through a resin bath, Pull through a heated steel die .Then shaped into a solid carbon rods.The advantage of pultruded/pultrusion process is that it produces a continuous,Unidirectional length of rods that can be cut different size after curing. Pultruded/Pultrusion process carbon rods have high output,light weight(1/5 of steel),high strength(7 times than steel). So carbon rods can be used to replace steel rods at construction/kite or toys bone/automobile/industry etc area. The disadvantage of pultrusion is pultrusion make all carbon fiber have only one direction--Length direction 0°. Someone want to make the carbon rods more strong and good looking,So roll wrapped a layer of 3k weave carbon prepreg outside of the carbon rods.
