How to choose suitable carbon fiber products?

Carbon fiber products are  widly used at many areas. People know it light weight,High strength, good -corrosion resistant etc; So when you choose carbon fiber products ,How to choose it?

Let me ask you the follows,Pls ask yourself.

1.Do you use carbon fiber products before? You know carbon fiber's strength is 7 times than steel,

If you want to reduce weight and instead than steel. Pls estimate the carbon fiber's size first, For example,You use 50mmOD*40mmID steel pipe before, but it is too heavy.If you want to use carbon fiber to replace, So choose 50mmOD*45mmID ok,No need use same size carbon fiber pipe--Why.  It is not necessary.Same size means cost is higher, and 50mm OD*45mm ID carbon fiber tube's strength is enough.

2.  if you want to buy a carbon fiber products, Pls considering it working environment,Some people need it bearing high temperature(for example bearing 180℃ at long time), someone need the it smoothness is very nice, someone need the length is very longer.  Pls let the supplier know it;

3. How to choose supplier?  

Someone like choose factory,Because they think factory can save cost, someone like choose trade company, Because they like trade company's sevice.

If let me choose.I don't care they are factory or trade company,First,They need to fulfill my request--I will let the supplier reply my questions,Then judge if he/she are familiar with the products,If not,I will give up them, Second, If have qualify problem or other problem,They can responsible for it in time.   maybe you are worry-- befor get a order, They(factory/trade company) will promise they can do what what what, but if have quality or other problem, they can't responsible for it. So take it easy. Before give them formal order,You can let them prepare sample first--Via samples,You will see many thing.For example,The sales you connect if can do what he/she promised to you, When something happen,If he/she can handle it for you in time. Then you will have your decission.
